Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query entered in a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Sierra County Court Docket does not keep a separate log of search terms entered through those tools.
Messages and Contact Submissions
Messages sent to the operator may be retained to respond. They are not shared outside the organization except when a legal obligation requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Like most online resources, server and analytics services may receive technical visit data.
- IP address and general connection data
- Browser, device type, and operating system
- Pages viewed and approximate visit duration
- Referring page, when available
- Time records associated with page requests
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies can help measure traffic and page performance. Browser controls may block cookies, although some functions can work differently after that choice.
What We Do With This Data
Technical information is used to operate and improve the resource, route a submitted search to its provider, diagnose faults, understand aggregate use, and support advertising that may be interest based.
No Court-Record Data on File
Sierra County Court Docket does not host, compile, sell, or maintain a database of court dockets or personal case files. It identifies official routes to the Sierra County District and Magistrate clerks, New Mexico Case Lookup, and court-record request channels. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside providers operate the search boxes. Their retention, sharing, and privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this policy. Review the provider’s terms before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links to court, clerk, government, and provider pages leave Sierra County Court Docket. Each destination controls its own privacy practices. Advertising partners may collect activity on their own systems to provide interest-based advertising.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Information may be processed by search providers, analytics vendors, advertising networks, or public authorities that present a valid legal demand.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security measures are used for information under the operator’s control. Internet transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed completely secure, so no assurance against every unauthorized event is possible.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults. It does not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. Information believed to have been submitted by a minor can be removed after notice.
Your Data Rights
Depending on residence, a visitor may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or limits on certain processing. New Mexico’s Inspection of Public Records Act governs access to public records held by New Mexico Courts; court access is also subject to Rule 1-079 NMRA. Those court-record rules do not convert this private resource into a court custodian.
- Request information held about you
- Ask to correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion where applicable
- Opt out of qualifying processing
